Finally got to the National Park and the car park was pretty empty and it was a pleasant temperature for a short walk.
The car park was full when I got back. Wandered on home for lunch.

Qld Labour Day Drive 2009
As the weather was nice and it was a public holiday, I decided to take a quick drive up the road to the Mt Cougal Section of Springbrook National Park. Left home about 9'ish after a sleep in and brekky. Drove out along Currumbin Creek and stopped for some photos at Pocock's Bridge.
And then at the Currumbin Rock Pool.

Just testing to see how easy it is to get this new fangled technology to work the way I want it to. Have just added a photo and it should be on the right hand side and medium size. The photo is from a camping trip Faser Island with some visitors to the institue.
